The course covers the role, functions and basic techniques of spectrum monitoring, and purpose and capabilities of different types of spectrum monitoring equipment.

This course explores the latest trends and innovations in digital technology and examines their implications for digital transformation. It covers topics such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, and the Internet of Things (IoT), highlighting their potential to drive innovation and disrupt traditional business models.

While many individuals with disabilities are technologically savvy, persons with disabilities in general are faced with a digital gap. This is further compounded by digital gaps along lines of gender and socio-economic status, amongst others. These digital gaps need to be addressed, if we want to ensure that persons with disabilities do not miss out on the opportunities provided by the digital economy.

This course provides a comprehensive overview of spectrum management for aeronautical and radio determination services, including both commercial and military domains. Participants will gain a deep understanding of aeronautical systems, spectrum regulations, and practical spectrum management skills.

Through interactive lectures, practical exercises, and case studies, participants will develop the expertise to address complex challenges in aeronautical spectrum management.

Many countries have begun to develop smart villages/towns/cities with varying degrees of success. This course focuses on the design and implementation of smart sustainable cities (SSCs), and would be useful for policy makers, urban planners, and anyone interested in understanding basic aspects of smart city development.

This course provides a comprehensive overview of 5G technology, its global regulation and applications. Participants will learn about the evolution and key components of 5G, its applications in sectors such as healthcare and transportation, and the regulatory landscape in different regions. The course also covers security and privacy issues, as well as the economic and social impacts of 5G. Case studies will be presented and best practices for effective 5G deployment will be discussed, preparing participants to influence the development of this technology.

As part of the project on capacity development to accelerate school connectivity under the umbrella of the Â鶹ÉçÊÓƵ and through the Giga Learning Hub, ITU will host a face to face training to introduce the methodology to measure gaps in ICT infrastructure and for connectivity business planning.  It aims to improve the theoretical and practical skills of participants in collecting ICT infrastructure data, identifying underserved areas, applying GIS tools, and using connectivity models to test and compare selected connectivity scenarios.

National cyber crisis management course is the introductory two-day, scenario-based, purpose-built training designed to take attendees to the intermediate level. 

The course will include both theoretical and practical components that cover a wide range of topics related to national cyber crisis management. Students will explore the main concepts of cyber crisis management, understand the key roles and responsibilities of key stakeholders involved in national cybersecurity crisis management, including the role CSIRTs. 

This course provides a comprehensive introduction to ICT standards and interoperability within ICT systems. Participants will gain an understanding of the organizations responsible for establishing these standards, as well as the national authorities that enforce them. The course will guide participants in self-monitoring practices to ensure compliance with both industry and regulatory standards. Additionally, it will cover the penalties associated with non-compliance and clarify the distinct roles of various stakeholders in the field.

This course provides an introduction to artificial intelligence (AI), focusing on its application in the public service. Participants will be guided through the entire process of devising AI-based services in the public sector. Lessons will cover not just the functional aspects of this application but also the governance and ethical aspects of the process to offer a holistic point of view.
